William Hickey - Art Director

I'm a 1992 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with degrees in Design and Illustration. I have over 2 decades of design experience primarily in the outdoor advertising industry. I speak often to colleges and clients on the value of creativity and simple design in advertising. From time to time I like to recharge my batteries with my passions for snowboarding, motorcycles, drawing and tattooing. I always come back with a renewed energy and passion for design. I'm primed to take things to new heights. My talents include advertising, ad layout, copywriting, graphic design, marketing strategies, production and illustration. Capabilities include concept through production on outdoor, print advertising, web advertising, direct mail, brochures, logo and identity development, and product development. My recent venture has led me to Florida as my "Escape from New York." I traveled down here and took a job with the union at the nuclear power plant. I have become a Certified Applicator Specialist through SSPC. My daily duties include surface prep with hand tools, power tools and media blasting. Painting with brush, roller, conventional and airless spray systems and thermal spray.
